Somewhat off topic Kevin but I’d like to request a thread on the Russian food import ban.

I see the Finnish PM is calling for the rest of the EU to give it a dig out as it’s economy will bear a disproportionate share of the total cost to the EU.

No doubt such a reasonable request will be granted. I hope the Irish delegation at the relevant meeting will be, at a minimum, pointing out the absolute hypocrisy of the Finns.

EU banking crisis, every state for itself. Import bans imposed by Russia, we’re all sharing the cost. a la carte solidarity.
