The ISNE annual conference takes place in UL on October 2nd. There are almost 60 speakers including PhD students from TCD, UCD, NUIG, UCC, NUIM and UL as well as researchers from a number of international institutions. The programme is now available on the link below. All are welcome to attend. No registration charge. The organising committee are Stephen Kinsella, Martin Ryan and Dominic Trepel.

and will those not attending fundamentally disagree with the conference, not have an appropriate skillset or implicitly agree with the conference but prefer not to do so in public?
@Pa, what if they just end up spending too much time after the conference in the UL bar and go to ground? Oh, wait…
Are the conference participants going to make it back to their own constituencies in time to vote on Lisbon??
Hi Aisling,
We scheduled the conference before the announcement of the referendum.
Polls are open from 7am to 10pm, (http://www.lisbontreaty.ie/documents/OrderPollingDayOrderReferendum.pdf),and any presenters who need to can be moved to accommodate their preferences, earlier or later, as necessary. We’ve already done this for two presenters. The conference itself finishes at 5.30pm.
