The National Library has launched its web archive for the 2011 presidential election; it includes this site. Explanation below – more details here.
By the way, an interesting summary of this blog’s readership is provided:
Compared with all internet users, Irisheconomy.ie appeals more to users who have postgraduate educations; its visitors also tend to consist of less affluent, childless men between the ages of 35 and 65 who browse from home.

What’s with the childless bit?
How depressing. It makes us sound like a bunch of geeky losers 🙁
@ PR
I’ve only 4 kids 🙂 Seems there are a few who need to sharpen up a bit though 🙂
@Colm
Let’s have a game of which poster you think meets all of the criteria in this description 🙂

Ah no, that’s not very fair at all.
But good to see the healthy number of visits motivated by search for information on what is causing the mess, coverups, and so on.
I’m guessing my own interest will nosedive following the compact after they corral and brand the sheep. I’ve more interesting stuff to do 🙂
Pity there are not more females on the site. Economics seems a very male dominated profession.
It is naturally true that while 23.5% of visitors to irisheconomy are from Ireland, 15.7% are from Pakistan, providing good reason for confidence in Alexa’s analytics. Not.
@BCT
Probably the Waziristan GAA keeping up to date & picked up by Alexa …

I could not let myself inflict more Dork children on the country………driving down the per capita GNP ratio.
Here’s one way for someone to start on those kids:

Waziristan GAA have a grant application that you might process for us – the €5,000 fee is in the envelope. Shukran Sean. Maith agat Sean.
…..or maybe an economist job has the opposite effect……
