It is now almost one year since the untimely death of Brendan Walsh. Peter Neary and Cormac O Grada have just completed a piece which provides an appreciation of Brendan’s work.

Very good summary of Brendan’s many contributions.
Thanks to Peter and Cormac for preparing this thoughtful tribute. Brendan had a consistent research agenda throughout his career, and he delivered on it. On a minor note, it is good to see the clever term DANSE (Doheny and Nesbitt’s School of Economics) preserved in the historical record.
Really think there should be a DANSE seminar series started, would be fun.
